George F. Walker’s dark comic Dead Metaphor introduces us to a former sniper in Afghanistan who returns to Canada to find that the job market at home does not have a lot of practical use for his particular skill set.
With aging parents and a pregnant wife, he finds himself working for as an assistant to a contemptuous politician seeking election. And that is when all of the craziness begins!
